The Stewarts Creek High School Jazz Bands are performance-based ensembles that explore America’s art form through active music-making. With two bands at the high school level, students perform classic standards and contemporary charts across the many
styles of jazz music.

Red Hawks Jazz Band
Comprised of students in grades 9-12 with prior experience in the jazz bands, the Red Hawks Jazz Band explores more advanced concepts in jazz repertoire. With performances each semester, students in the Red Hawks Jazz Band continue to develop more refined improvisational techniques, listening and analytical skills in jazz styles and professional rehearsal and performance skillsets.
Stewarts Creek High School Creek Jazz Band
Comprised of students in grades 9-12, the Creek Jazz Band serves as an ensemble for students who are interested in studying and performing jazz music. Designed as an entry level high school jazz ensemble, the Creek Jazz Band explores basic skills in jazz band including styles and improvisational techniques. The Creek Jazz Band performs each semester with music curated to meet the needs of students with an emerging interest in jazz.
