The concert bands at Stewarts Creek High School form the cornerstone of a comprehensive and campus-wide band program beginning in 6th grade and continuing into one of three curricular based concert band models for students in grades 9-12.
Stewarts Creek High School Wind Ensemble
The Stewarts Creek High School Wind Ensemble is the premier ensemble among six campus band ensembles, comprised of the finest wind and percussion students in grades 10–12. With a tradition of musical excellence and expressive artistry, the ensemble performs advanced literature ranging from classic masterworks of the wind band tradition to innovative contemporary compositions. Students refine tone, technique, and chamber-style listening while developing professional rehearsal habits and leadership within the program. The Wind Ensemble performs regularly at concerts, festivals, and community events across the region that showcase the highest level of student musicianship.

Stewarts Creek High School Symphonic Band
The Stewarts Creek High School Symphonic Band is an intermediate level high school ensemble within the six Stewarts Creek campus band ensembles. Comprised of students in grades 10-12, the Symphonic Band is committed to musical growth and expressive performance, through the study of selected symphonic band literature. With regular performances at concerts and festivals, students refine tone, technique, and ensemble listening while strengthening music-reading skills and developing professional rehearsal habits.

Stewarts Creek High School Concert Band
The Stewarts Creek High School Concert Band is the entry-level high school ensemble among the six Stewarts Creek campus band ensembles. The Concert Band is comprised of woodwind, brass, and percussion students in ninth grade providing a confident first step and preparing musicians for continued success within the high school band program.. Focused on foundational and expressive performance skills, the class performs thoughtfully selected concert band literature. Students continue to develop proper instrument technique and tone production, strengthen music-reading and rhythmic accuracy, and refine ensemble listening while establishing professional rehearsal habits.
